AhmetKADİROĞLU,inhisstudytitled“Impact of Trade Openness, FDI, Exchange Rate aAnd Inflation on Economic Growth: A Case Study of Turkiye” makesempiricalanalysistorevealtheroleoftradeopenness,inflation,realexchange rate and foreign direct investment in increasing economic growth in Turkiye. The analysis is based on time series data for the period from 1994 to2020.JohansenCo-integrationanalysisisusedtodeterminethelong-termrelationship between the variables in the study. The cointegration results showedthatthereisalong-termrelationshipbetweenthevariables.Ithasbeendetermined that the economic growth rate in Turkiye and the trade openness ratearepositivelyrelated.Ontheotherhand,inflationandexchangeratearenegativelyrelatedtoeconomicgrowth.Inaddition,foreigndirectinvestmentis also a strong growth indicator. Foreign direct investment has a positive but non-significantrelationshipwitheconomicgrowth.Also,itisstatedthattherelationship between economic indicators is affected by digitalization process.
